Our sense that the Spark project has a life of its own within the ever-evolving, multi-dimensional Dance of All Being is increasing. It seems that we only need to pay attention and be obedient to its nudges – and be willing to follow through with our faithful hearts and abilities, such as they may be. We have felt no need to know how it all fits together or if it even does. However, we have come to believe that it does all fit together, and we think we have an image of how.
The image that has emerged is of a living mosaic, a living mosaic as the solution to the current global crises. We, all sentient beings, are each a bit of the mosaic: a tile, a piece of broken glass or mirror, a pebble, a shell, and probably more options we are not seeing. Each bit is unique. Each one is essential to the mosaic.
For our satisfaction, we need to become true to the bit that we truly are. We need to be willing to be, even if at times roughly, moved toward our unique place of effective engagement in the Dance. Which place may develop and evolve? The mosaic is living, after all.
So, how do we become true to who we are and fit into where we are needed in this living mosaic of solutions? And therefore, where do our satisfaction and comfort await? This is where the Spark work comes in, where we see its relevance in the Big Picture.
As we each claim our personal spark of humanity, by connecting with and affirming the sparks in others, our spark is strengthened. It seems as we suggest in our earliest material, that the strengthened spark acts to erode the defenses, clarify the bafflement, and release the distortions. This means the spark is becoming unfettered in its true nature and can subtly move us to become who we really are, true to ourselves and thus agents of transformation. We are on the path to joining the ever-evolving, multi-dimensional Dance of all Being, fully and with intention.
This, we find, is a process that may so engross us that we can release the distortions of criticizing or judging others (or ourselves), the bafflement concerning what the pattern of the mosaic should be or will be, and the defenses that crop up to protect us from accepting that we are really not at all in charge.
What we are in charge of, we have come to believe, is supporting ourselves (and encouraging each other) in being true to our sparks: being the tiles, shells, bits of glass or mirror, pebbles that we are meant to be, needed to be. We are each unique. We are each essential. Through claiming our personal spark, we become who we truly are, who we need to be, and available to finding our ever-evolving place of effective engagement in the Dance of Being.
